How much will it cost to design?
- We charge NZ$ 300 - NZ$ 500 for a unique website.
- People choose to have an Internet presence for several reasons; to present information about their organisation, to keep members informed about activities, or to sell products.
For example, a club may wish to notify members of coming events, or a shop may wish to display a range of products.
How can I get website content to you?
- Most of our clients send content via email. Christchurch clients can visit our premises and work with the designer.
- Every website owner wants to be on top of the search engine results page, however unless you pay for the priviledge you will have to join in the list with many others.
Clubs and interest groups, such as churches, will advertise their site to members therefore search engines are not a priority. Businesses can use the website address on their business cards and in advertising media.
Can I write the website code myself?
- Sure you can, but often you will require a variety of expensive software (although some is free), HTML knowledge and graphic skills.
Can I update the website myself?
- Yes, no the preferred option, but we can supply FTP details and free software to assist you.
Do I need to have my own domain name (www.mysite.co.nz)?
- No, you can get free website hosting that will look like www.free.com/mysite, but will usually have to subject your visitors to advertising. Also the website host has no obligation to continue in operation and may also change your URL (web address).
- A domain costs $45 a year to register, which we will do on your behalf.
- Hosting costs $10 - $15 per month.
- Secure web hosting costs $40 per month.

How can I promote my website offline?
Think about ways to advertise your business and website by using conventional marketing ideas, such as:
- Email signatures
- Vehicle signwriting
- Signage outside a physical premise (home or business)
- TV, radio and newspaper advertising
- Flyers, billboards, brochures, leaflets and direct mailings
